Introduction
The newly elected BJP MLAs in Madhya Pradesh have elected Dr Mohan Yadav as the new chief minister of the state. Earlier this month, the BJP scored a landslide victory in Madhya Pradesh by winning 166 seats.
Mohan Yadav is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the 19th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh designate. He represents Ujjain South constituency as Member of Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh since 2013. Yadav started his political career as a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. On 2 July 2020 he took the oath as cabinet minister in the Madhya Pradesh Government headed by Shivraj Singh Chouhan. On 11th December 2023, at the BJP Legislative members meet, he was announced as the 19th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
